Woke up after a lovely sleep, went for a Club breakfast and drinks, had a little accident in the shower - don't worry - nothing serious. :)
Later we went to an area called 789 street (or something similar), which is a place where a lot of frustrated artists built they galleries. We visited numerous galleries and watched grotesque pictures and statues, but, of course, didn't buy a thing, as can be expected. :)
After that we went to the Silk market, which is the famous (or is it infamous?!?) place to buy clothes in Beijing, and we bargained our ways to death, and ended up buying as many as 10 shirts, for ridiculous prices. :)
Now we're back in the hotel, and later tonight we hope to go out and see the Olympic area by night. We already visited it during the morning last year. Who knows... . :)
Oh yeah, El Al, called us and suggested that instead of taking the direct flight from Beijing to Tel Aviv, we divert our destination to Hong Kong or Bangkok and then Tel Aviv, but we refused, so now they're (hopefully...) paying our hotel bill for the extra day. Yay! :)
