We landed in Beijing in the early morning and somehow got through immigration (the airline had to arrange a 24-hour visa for us).
We were then put on a shuttle bus to a nearby hotel.
Arriving at the hotel, we did not have any vouchers from the airline, so check in was quite slow.
We then got some instructions regarding the breakfast, lunch and dinner and went to our rooms to book flights from Europe back home.
We then had a quick breakfast, went to sleep for a couple of hours (we were DEAD tired), got up to lunch, a quick shower and checked out for dinner.
All through the afternoon, nobody could confirm that we actually do have seats for the flight out of Beijing, so it was truly stressful.
Arriving at the airport, we were relieved to find our tickets and headed to the gorgeous Hainan lounge, prior to our flight to Europe.
