Well we took the overnight train from Beijing to Xian and were placed in a totally open carriage sharing with two young lads that ate all night until they slept and then some other bloke that spoke english but snored all night.

Anyway the ttain arrived at 6.30am and some bloke took us to a hostel which is right by the station and not too far from town. We checked straight in and then headed to the Terracotta Warriors.

We didnt spend to much time here and to be fair am glad to have seen it but it is slightly overrated and not really that exciting to be honest with you.

Anyway we hopped back on the bus and then went in the search of food and ended up in kfc as we were just to hungry to look around for a decent place. Eventually we found ourseleves in the muslim quarter which was well cool. Loads of little streets with markets down each of them and very very cheap indeed. North Face coats 10 pounds, and its all because they are made out here. Loads of little antiques but cant find a brolley stand anywhere and not sure how to get that home from here to be honest with you mom.

Came back to the hostel to eat and then headed out to town to some local bars that are also so cheap too.
