When we woke on Monday I was still absolutely knackered. It was weird how once the trek was over it felt like my body knew and went out of trekking mode and into tired achy mode. We stayed back at the same hostel and basically just chilled all day until the evening. Even though we were tired it was nearing the end of our trip and didn't want to spend the evening in and besides we didn't have anything planned for the next few days, just literally waiting to go to Puno. Cusco is a nice place but the whole town is basically built on tourists and we didn't have enough cash for another activity so anyway, we decided to go to Wildrover and take advantage of their happy hour. We once again bumped into an Aussie that we'd met in Lima and was out on my birthday. The three of us got drunk and partied till close. The next day was pretty much a nothing day with an early night and the third day we wondered round town taking snaps. We also went to the Inca museum which was actually pretty lame. Expecting to see all their weaponry and tools they used we saw the clothing and textiles they made along with some pots. Call me uncultured but I wanna see knives and spears, not dresses and tea cups. Later that evening we caught a night bus to Puno.
