The bus journey was absolutely horrendous. The recline on my seat was broken meaning that every time I feel asleep in a reclined position I woke up about half an hour later up right. I woke up at about 8am with a bit of a sore head after the previous night. The weather was pretty s***ty, grey, cold and drizzly. We had breakfast and then had the choice to walk or grab a bus to the next checkpoint. The following day we woke in a slightly warmer climate than the previous day. Had breakfast and headed off at about 8am. I again wore my flip flops as the blisters were still hotter than the sun. We were a lot lower than the previous day, about 2500 m.a.s.l I think so the walk was easier breathing wise how ever because it was humid down there it was really wet.
