On the second we wake to find that the everything seems to back to normal. We mission to the bus station to buy our ticket to Punta Del Este. Four pound fifty for a 2 hour coach journey can't be bad. Walking back via the beach we chill out there for the rest of the day. We go home to book the next few days hostels and stay at the hostel knowing that Montevideo has nothing more to offer.
