We survived the storm yesterday but our van didn't do too well!!! The rain and the wind were great to watch and I have never seen hailstones like it. Shortly after I posted the journal yesterday the power went off in the Internet place and all we could do was watch the storm. We came up to Noosa yesterday from Brisbane, this is one of the nicest beach places on the east coast and it's a really nice quaint little town. It's where all the rich Aussies come on their holidays so I'm not quite sure how rich and I fit into that!! We arrived into Brisbane on Monday amd piced up our van straight away, we've driven down the coast about 1and a half hours to Byron Bay. It's a really nice coastal town with lots of surfers and a really great beach. It's amazing white sand, so fine that it squeaks when you walk, very weird!
