We arrived into Brisbane on Monday amd piced up our van straight away, we've driven down the coast about 1and a half hours to Byron Bay. It's a really nice coastal town with lots of surfers and a really great beach. It's amazing white sand, so fine that it squeaks when you walk, very weird! We've been doing very little other than walking around the town and lazing on the beach. We did take a drive in the van to a place called Nimbin which is a real hippie town, full of old people wishing they were young again and needing a good wash!! I hasten to say we didn't stay long but we did see a great waterfall on the way back. From here we go up to a place called Surfers Paradise which I expect is much the same as here, for us to do much the same thing!!! I'll let you know though.....
