Today we headed out of the city to the Santa Susana Ranch to experience the life of a Gaucho (Argentine Cowboy). We were greeted with fried empanadas (better than baked) and wine. It was a beautifully maintained ranch and we had an opportunity to go for horse ride around their property. We were served an Argentine BBQ lunch. They love their meat in Agentina!! We arrived back in Buenos Aires and have a great location with the Emperador hotel. Safe walking distance to many things. Since we arrived in South America we have yet to meet other US travelers which is very unusual from our other traveling experiences. We love the food but at times aren't sure what we're getting until it's delivered. Randy has mastered " no comprende" .....the extent of his Spanish. Many little sidewalk cafes. Today we spent a full day at Iguazu falls on the Argentina side. It was a totally different experience from the Brazil side. We felt like we were walking between and on top of the falls. It really is amazing! We definitely put in our "steps for the day" and in 90+ temps. We will fly back to Buenos Aires tomorrow. So glad we took in this amazing marvel of nature!

Today we took a tour of the beautiful Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side of the falls. The falls consist of around 275 falls. 80% of the falls are located in Argentina and 20% in Brazil but it is on the Brazil side that you can get the panoramic view. Spectacular! The most dazzling falls is the 90 meter high Devil's Throat. Tomorrow we'll tour the Argentina side of the falls. Our hotel is located in the jungle and we cross a suspension bridge to get to our room...

We arrived in Buenos Aires this morning after an all night travel. Everything went well and we arrived to temps in the 90's. Regrouped today and had an opportunity to explore the city. Fabulous food with many restaurants to choose from. Great empanadas!! Tomorrow we'll leave for Iguazu Falls! We begin our adventures in South America!
