Udaipur - Jag mandir

Udaipur is known for its grand history, tradition and beautiful locations. Many of the palaces from the past have been converted into lavish hotels. These hotels prove to be a tourist attraction.

Now, Jag mandir has a restaurant run by a luxury group of hotels. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan took refuge here while rebelling against his father. Jag mandir is another island in Lake Pichola and it is famous for its garden patio. Because of the friendship between the Mughals and the Mewar Kings, peace prevailed in Jag mandir, but Aurangzeb gave some threats to the Mewar kings.
