We are in Scotland. The weather has changed completely. It was sunny all day today with very light winds. Most of the day was motoring with a couple of hours sailing. Want to the harbour office this morning in Douglas and was told they might not open the bridge until this evening. We loitered around the bridge and they opened it for us after the rush hour. It turns out this is the main road in Douglas. Vituals limited by Spar shop in Douglas, we spotted Tesco too late. Went all along the east coast of Isle of Mann passing the light houses at the top and then over to Mull of Galoway. A very strong tide against at this point so went very close to cliffs at times less than 50 metres off. Spectacular views and many seals. Arrived at Portpatrick at 19:30. This is a beautiful small harbour and village. Alison cooked chicken ala Javelin finished off with Port and cheese. Off to the pub to sample the local beer!

BrdoAna My two main issues with Cuil 1) I did not like their ruelsts layout, difficult to read and browse2) Put my name in (I'm a writer with multiple sites) on Google and you get thousands of hits. Put it in on Cuil and it gets no hits. That means either their page collection methods are incomplete, or I don't exist. Rene Descartes suggests I do.I am actually an old AltaVista partisan from way back, who only grudgingly went to Google as it became more powerful winning tme over to yet another engine will require it to be better, not inferior.
