Up for an 8 o'clock start, ambitiously decided on shorts and T-shirt. The lock keeper was spraying his head with mosquito repellant and the crew on one of the other boats had a head net covering head and face. It started raining so ended up covered from head to toe. The sun has gone and drizzle is the order of the day. We set off for Fort William with a force 6 behind us and made excellent time as we sped up the Lynn of Lorne. Challenging navigation with isolated rocks and fast running narrows. We entered Corpach sea loch at 3:30 and are now waiting overnight to proceed further up the canal. Walked along the canal, with wonderful wild flowers adorning the row path.
