We sailed to Peterhead today, again good wild life with dolphins, porpoises, basking shark, seals, puffins and cliffs with thousands of birds nesting on them. The wind slowly built from force 1 to force 4 and with a flat sea we took a short Coastal route going over the overfalls at Rattray Head without any problems.
We have now said goodbye to Sue and Alison and welcomed Clare, John an Tim.
Last week was very different in the canal and a good break from the long windy days. We have now covered over 1,000 miles visited the most southern and western points in the UK and have got as far north as we are going. We are now heading south and east.
There are gales forecast for the next few days so we may be stuck for several days. We are next to the prison so maybe a visit could be arranged!

Neil Dunnet Great to hear you have been making such good progress. After such a good time with you over the past two weeks it seems strange having breakfast without the floor moving! Thank you again for such a great time together - very special sailing ... Hope the gales blow through quickly so that you will be on your way again before too long. Neil
