Spent a peaceful night at Tayvallich, a beautiful natural lagoon entered via tight entrance. Since we are in Scotland did our own MacDonalds, burger and chips! Off today to Oban in bright sunshine and light winds. It is very picturesque here with the rocky wooded shore lines and many islands. We have seen seals again today already.

Left Port Ellen in a force 6 and choppy seas. 3 reefs in the main and handkerchief of headsail, we made steady progress north to Loch Sween. Our anchorage is 5 miles from the mouth past a ruined castle with Ben Nevis in the distance.
