Arrived at Milford Haven entrance at 3am after the wind had come to NW allowing us to sail close hauled for 15 hours. Tied up in Neyland Marina at 5am. More thoughts later.

Another 6am start to catch the last of favorable tide round Land's End. First task clear the sea gull poo of the poop deck. Last night was noisy in Newlyn with fishing boats in and out all night. It is overcast and grey. Wind force 3 from north so motoring at the moment. We are now the furthest point west before heading north. Just seen a sunfish flapping.

Sunshine at last! Sunnies on but thermals still firmly in place :). Off to the delights that Newlyn brings us today but the good news is that it shortens our day tomorrow for the big hop to Milford haven. Shame to miss Fowey or Falmouth but that's sailing - take the wind when you can. We have 15 knots breeze and 8 knots boat speed which should have us rounding the lizard in 7 hours. All the crew are happy but two have sore butts from hard decks! Been surrounded...

Sunshining at last. Off to Newlyn if conditions ok. If not stopping at Falmouth.

Arrived after 5 hour sail in Plymouth. Drizzle stopped and had cracking sail with average over 7 knots and max speed of 9.5 knots.
