Happy October everyone! We got up and had a leasurely morning and had a breakfast of Greek yogurt and honey in our room and then packed up our bags. We then relaxed and enjoyed a coffee on the balcony of the hotel looking over the pool and bay of Parikia on a beautiful sunny and warm morning. At Noon it was finally time to take the shuttle to the port. Our hosts at Akrotiri hotel have been amazing and so friendly and we would definitely recommend staying there! Plus it's a beautiful, new and clean hotel with amazing views!
We took the quick one hour ferry ride from Paros to Mykonos and managed to find our hotel shuttle driver among the chaos that is the Mykonks port.
We are staying up on the hill just to the east of the main part of Hora (main Mykonos town) and once we got checked in we lounged by the pool  for the rest of the sunny (but very windy again) afternoon.
After having a good relax we got cleaned up and took the steep decent down in to town to check out the labyrinth of streets filled with shops and restaurants and to find a good place to eat. After a nice meal we wondered around the narrow streets surrounded by the white covered buildings before making our climb up the steep hill back to our hotel. Its definitely a nice way to work off your meal though! Looking forward to another sunny day tomorrow but hopefully a little less wind!
