Our day started with a nice complimentary breakfast at our hotel before heading down the steep hillside to have a good look around Hora town. We headed first to the famous windmills located right by the sea where there was surprisingly a large amount of tourists in he area. I can only imagine with this place is like in July! Sarah got some good pictures then we continued on through the bustling narrow streets to Pangia Paraportiani which is Mykonos' most famous church with the whitest walls you have ever seen located right by the old port. We then continued on along side the port area and up to the Archaeological Museum which contains pottery, statues and jewellery from the neighboring island of Rhenia. Most of the artifacts in this museum dated back to the 7th to 3rd cent BC, incredible! We then stopped at a bakery to grab some fresh bread and some fresh cheese at a small store tucked away in town and then made our way back to our place to enjoy a nice lunch pool side along with some wine be bought in Paros. Delicious! We spent the rest of the nice warm sunny afternoon by the pool and relaxed, definitely feels like a holiday. We headed back in to town just after 7 and made our way over to a Mexican restaurant we had picked out yesterday. It was very reasonably priced and we enjoyed a fabulous meal sharing nachos and a burrito and even splurged and each got a cocktail as it was happy hour! We have come to the reality that it is much to expensive to "go out" here in Mykonos as drinks are very expensive as are most places to eat in general. So we decided it would be much better to be "lame" and after another walk around town to go back up to our place and enjoy some of our own wine! (We currently have copious amounts of it). That was it for our day and tomorrow we are hoping to go down to the southern beaches of Mykonos!
