We spent the day exploring the old town area of Chania. Walked along the big sea wall to the light house and explored all along the seaside boulevard around the old town area. It was a scorcher of a day again (31!) and spent the later half of the afternoon at the beach to work on our tans, and went for a much needed dip in the Mediterranean! Huge travel day over to Greece. After finally arriving in Athens we had a 6 hour layover before our flight to Chania in Crete. We got here at 5pm local time and didn't catch any sleep at all until this point but managed to catch a second wind once we got to Chania! Its a hot muggy evening and we spent it walking around the town center and indulged in some chicken and pork slouvlaki, delicious! Our hotel is right by the old town and a 2 min walk away from the sea....
