I'm really getting tired of typing this, but Verona is another absolutely beautiful city that you can just throw away the map and walk around the old city. Verona is well known for being the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, although the city is much different now than it was when that play was written. Our hostel was actually located in a 16th century villa overlooking the city, so it was one of our better hostels in terms of location and the building....

So now that our return deadline has been set for November 18th, we have to do as many cities as possible in our last two weeks. That means doing Italy in one week and Spain/Portugal in the second week. Rome will have to be skipped, because I don't want to try to do Rome in only one day. I want to preface this blog with the fact that I did not plan on visiting Italy, I was going to save it for another trip.
