Brugge is a very small town, shaped like a circle because of a river that wraps around it, lots of waterways through it, with lots of very old buildings. Definitely a beautiful city but not much to do for someone our age. We only stayed one day in Brugge and will be heading next to the wedding in France.

Brussles is a very winding city. Every street seems to go in a circle which renders maps virtually useless, its much easier to just walk in the general direction you want to go and find your way by wondering. The old city is very compact and the main square is magnificent, its exactly what I think of when I picture an old European city.
