Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
The weather is changing for the worse now we head south. The perfect weather has gone and we have woken to sprinkling rain. We stopped in at Coral Bay and it is a really beautiful spot. One I would definitely stay at next time. The caravan parks were packed though so I would imagine it would be hard to get a spot without a booking.
We checked out the Quobba Blowholes which were quite incredible spouting water up to 20m high. The waves were quite violent crashing into the cliffs nearby.
We were going to camp here but after driving through, Point Quobba was really busy and everyone was crammed in. There was space further up the back with the shacks but it looked dodgy. So we travelled 9km further north to Quobba Station. It was only $4 more and had hot showers and so much space! Well worth the extra drive and few dollars. Walking along the beach Zach found some colourful shells and I saw a whale close to shore.
