At 430am when the dog woke up it was already warm and still and ideal for a walk however sleep was too enticing and I climbed back into bed and slept until 7am, by which time it was hot and stuffy in the van. We spent a couple of hours doing some school work after breakfast and the kids were great - much more focused so we were all finished by 11am. I went into town to do a few chores and after lunch we headed down to the beach. We were the only ones there today and it was great to let Tally run wild and let the kids scream and shout. We spent the whole afternoon in and out of the water as it was hot for Esperance (32 degrees!) and only came home when we were all hungry. Everyone had something slightly different for dinner so it took a while but the three smaller ones were still in bed by 730pm. Nick and I watched TV in bed with all the windows open and the breeze was fantastic - on hot nights this is when our Jaycoe is awesome!
