It was another early start this morning as the dark cover I made for the skylight only lasted 15 minutes before it fell off!! It was a stunning morning with the sun shining and no breeze at all so we were tempted to head straight to the beach but knew that if we left school until the afternoon then we would never do it. We started work around 730am as soon as everyone had finished breakfast and we were all done by 1030am when the phone rang and we had a long chat to the Savages. By the time we were ready to hit the beach the wind had picked up but everyone was still keen for a swim. The beach was much busier today being a weekend and Tally was keen to introduce herself to everyone but only once she was soaking wet and covered in sand!! Keeping her under control seemed such a shame after the last few days of having a good run around. We spent the whole afternoon on the beach, only coming home because we needed a coffee!! The kids wanted a hot shower and then claimed they were starving so Nick made dinner early and by 630pm we were all cleaned up, in pj's and ready for bed. The rest of the evening was spent watching TV in bed - bliss!!
