We slept in until 630am this morning and it seemed like such a luxury!! After breakfast the kids did a few hours of schoolwork but today they couldn't concentrate for very long and we finished off before I had a major melt down. We had an early lunch and then headed into town for another walk along the beach. The Yabbie Farm sites are all amongst the bush and it was cold and cloudy amongst the trees but once we were at the beach the sun was shining and it was lovely and warm. We had all dressed in jeans, jumpers and boots but luckily had the bathers in the car so we did a quick change and all had a swim - how we've missed WA!! Nick's bathers were back at home so he dipped out (pardon the pun!!) and had to sit and watch us all. We walked the beach to dry off and at one point Tally took off after a Sea Gull and ran off the rocks into the ocean - she sunk like a stone and before she could get herself out Katharine had jumped in to rescue her!! On the way home we went into town and did some washing at the launderette. While we were waiting we got an ice cream and then went home to finish off the tax returns. Nick made hamburgers for dinner and both Matty and Anna fell asleep on our bed while we were tidying up. The rest of us were not too far behind them!
