Well we arrived safely back in Belgium yesterday. We got to sleep in and met up with everyone in the hotel lobby to head to the Train Station to catch our train. We had some extra time to kill so will all split up and went off to find some food. Kailee, Sarah, Nick, Casey, Adam, Jenny and I all went to a Kebab place. Michelle and Lindsey headed to look for more souvenir shops. We eventually all made it back to the station and got onto the Train. The train ride went pretty quick and we arrived back in Belgium around 3:00pm. We were all pretty tired and so we just hung out and relaxed, uploaded pictures and caught up on blogs and stuff. We spent two hours doing laundry at the laundry mat and then around 6:00 everyone decided to come to life again and thought it would be a good idea to get ready to go out for one last night at Baracuda, the bar near the university we have come to love over here :) It seemed like a good idea at the time but I forgot to mention that we had the second part of our International Marketing finals this morning at nine. I am so thankful that it was a final we had to go pick up and take back to the apartment and we could write it from bed. It was a rough morning but we all met our deadlines and everyone had their cases in by noon.
After we had all finished our final Michelle, Lindsey, Kailee, Devon, Baylee and I all went to a pizza place on the main strip of town and had pizzas and salads. We all had errands to run since we are packing up and leaving our apartments for good in the morning. Michelle and I shop at the same pace- pretty fast so we took off and quickly did our errands of getting food for the bus ride, ATM stops, and getting a pillow and blanket for the bus. Kailee and Lindsey took off to find some chocolate they had gotten and really liked, it took them a long while to find the right chocolate shop but they eventually made it.
So now here we are back at the apartment sitting here admiring the half way disaster that is our room. Three girls each with 2 or 3 suitcases, this place looks like a bomb went off. Packing has been an overwhelming and slow moving process for all three of us today. We have made progress but still have a ways to go. Other than packing we are just hanging out getting ourselves ready for our last group dinner in Antwerp at a Japanese Hibatchi place. It is bittersweet night. Leaving Antwerp means we are nearing the end but we are all excited for the next nine days of road tripping through Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, and Luxembourg. We take off at 5am so its going to be a short night sleep if we get any at all. Living it up one last time tonight before we hit the road and say goodbye to Antwerp :(
