We made it throug the night. Six girls trying to get ready in one room is wlays a challenge. We had people in and out until 2am and up starting at 6am. It is Michelles birthday today so after our day in Luxembourgh we are exctied to celebrate that and our last night with everyone. Michelle, Lindsey and I went to breakfest at 7 awhile the other three got ready in our room and then they went to breakfest and we got ready. We met in the lobby to turn in our cell phones, adapters and sign out of the program pretty much. We are now without a working cell phone although we do have a cell phone on us that I borrowed from someone from back in the states before I left that can be activated in case we need it to be. We loaded the bus and started our bus tour of Luxembourgh. We stopped at the United States Military cemetary and walked around and then headed over to the Germany military cementary. After those tours we headed back into the city. We had our final historical wlaking tour and it only went an hour!
After that finished we had a couple of hours to kill on our own so we let Michelle pick where we ate lunch. She wanted Chi Chi Mexican and a margarita so that is where a lot of us went. We actually got good tasting Margartias finally in this country! After Lunch Devon and I want to buy shot glasses and to explore. Michelle went with some people to buy chocoloates to bring home.
We all eventaully met up down by the bridge to get back on the bus to begin our four hour ride to Brussels for our final dinner and night together. We stopped at a gas station on the way out of town and one of my wine bottle exploded so we had to pass it around on the bus and throw away the bottle :( Sad day. We made it to Brussels aroud six and went right to dinner.
Our last group dinner was really good but kinda sad to know it was the last time we would all be spending together after spending everyday together for six weeks. We had an assortment of meats, soup, salad potatoes and ice cream for dinner. The University of Antewerp came and bought us drinks and we celebrated Michelles birthday by getting the whole restauraunt to sing to her. After dinner we climbed back on the bus and drove an hour to our hotel. We sang Kareoke all the way to the hotel it was a lot of fun.
Our last Etap hotel (the crappy ones with the bunk beds) is tonight. Yes we get to spend our last night in one of Europes finest hotels ;) We really do not care because we are all just excited to be spending one last night together. We are just hanging around here tonight at the patio bar and having a fun last night together. Michelle and I have to be up at 6am to catch the shuttle to our flight and the rest of the group is headed back to Fargo around 11. We are going to miss everyone so much. We have met some amazing people on this trip and made some wondeful and funny memories. Hope everyone has a safe flight and we already miss you!
