So today we rode on our first tuk tuk! Tuk Tuks are like 3 wheeler cars but just a hell of a lot less stable ie the roof is held up by a couple of poles and when the driver turned a corner you had to hold on for your life, annie nearly rolled out and onto the dual carriageway lol
We got the tuk tuk to go see this famous ping pong show everyone goes on about, id heard about it before we came to thai and all down kao sam toad the taxi drivers are shouting ping pong?? Hoping to take you there. So we gave it a go but I still had no idea what to expect though and did not realise It would be a dingey old ran down club in pitch darkness as you walk in! All the chairs are set around a centre stage with pole dancers and that's where the girls do there 'performances'! They basically each do a little warm up dance and then go onto drawing posters, blowing out candles, popping balloons with cocktail sticks, opening coke bottle lids and shooting ping pong balls into a bowl... All using a pretty disgusting body part!!!! I didn't know where to look, I felt so awkward it was gross! Lol but at least we can say we've done it I guess :s NEVER AGAIN!!
