So we arrived in Bangkok, our taxi driver from the airport was so funny, however he was crazy so I was a little scared for my life when driving on the freeway :/ having our backpacks and everything with us we were tired and hot and just wanted to rest but Kao San rd is so hectic we just didn't stop getting hassled, so when a nice American guy pointed us in the direction of a cheap hostel we just went straight to the first one and booked in! :/ it's a bit dark in the guesthouse and you can write your name in the dust along the surfaces... there's years of it :( but it's cheap! So it'l do for tonight! Kao San rd is really lively, really cheap and full of really nice people, it's full of ladyboys by night! They serve fried grasshopper by the side of the road and toasted frogs :) yummy il let you know how they taste when I eventually pluck up the courage to try one :/
