Happy Birthday bro! Woke up about lunchtime with a slightly sore head. Went for breakfast and I have never seen as many people in one street. How busy does it want to be? The population doubles over the Songkran to around 400, 000 people in the city. Its like Creamfields but 6 times busier. It is hard to describe what it is like but it's f***ing unbelievable.

I hung around in the main square for most of the day chilling out in the baking hot weather. In the main square round the moat walls are a few music stands with music blaring from them. There is also a Coca Cola stand with 3 podiums on the stage, a bit like in a gameshow where you stand inside these glass podiums and get gunked. With these ones though the unlucky person gets wet and then copious amounts of flour gets dumped on their head. Along with all this are hundreds of street food stalls doing just about any dish possible.

I went back to the guesthouse around 6pm to get some dinner and ended up watching the Blood Diamond in my room. Around 10pm me and Ste headed to a bar to watch the Man Utd v Arsenal game. Once the game had finished we went and met a few of the others at a bar called the Rooftop. We stopped there for one and moved on because it was absolutely packed out.

There was a club called Spicey that we went to, on the door as you walked in there was a sign that said 'no Ladyboy' then to be greeted by an aroma of sick. The music in Thailand is well random, from one extreme to the other but it was a good laugh though.

My next experience was one I never would have expected at all. The call of nature came so I went to the toilet and three guys were stood in the toilet dressed in shirt and pants, the sort you get in the City Centre bars with the smellies. Now for the random part, whilst taking a leak I suddenly found myself getting a massage off one of the guys, back, shoulders and cracking my neck all whilst taking a piss! When I went to wash my hands I they started on my arms and legs and then one of them got my arms and arced me over his back to stretch mine. I wasn't sure if it was some sort of thing so they could rob you but I was just thinking too much into I think. I can safely say that was the most random trip to the toilet ever. Went home around 3am via the good old 7-11 store.
