Woke up about dinner time, body clocks still a bit f***ed. I seem to be going to bed around 2am every morning, thats probably why but the evenings seem to go really quick.

Got some breakfast/dinner and went and met Laura from yesterdays day trip. The markeyt was on and thats the main thing going on a Sunday. At the market we thought "this market isn't that big." It seems as though its that because in the old inner city there a huge wall around the moat, something to do with an invasion but I can't remember right now!

Anyway we were stood in this area where one of these huge walls were and decided to go to the other side of it, and f*** me, it was everywhere, every street, every road, you name it there was market.

After an hour and a half walking round trying on stupid hats, buying a smoothie with about a full bag of Tate & Lyle in it and buying random s*** we both headed off. Laura had a week in an elephant sanctuary to contend with whilst I had a beard and a shave to contend with! No razor, not one of my high priorities, I didn't think i'd still be waiting for that useless airline.

I couldn't be arsed doing it so I went to a Thai barbers, random, yeah just going hairdressers, so what can I do for you today? Oh i'll just have a shave please love! What the f***! Bearing in mind that the barbers there were 3 Thai women. I sat waiting for five minutes then it was my turn. She got some Nicky Clarke's or whatever the Thai's version is and trimmed, then the next five minutes I put my life in this woman's hands as it was a cut-throat!

I made it out alive! I headed backed, chilled out, went for some some tea and watched a bit of footy. I had a weird lad who came and sat next to me for a bit. He reminded me a bit of a lad called Robbo but he had one tooth. He came across as a bit of a space cadet, he had been in a place called Pai, North-West of Chiang Mai and got into a scuffle up there, hence the one tooth thing I think! He caught his own face when swinging a punch! So he came back to Chiang Mai to get his 'head straight.' What a weapon! I also saw another random elephant in the street, another thai, a ladyboy and another tuk tuk but no lizard! The norm on a walk home in Chiang Mai.
