Songkran has started, unofficially! Headed off to get some breakfast and saw what looked like Bush, Bin Laden and someone else driving a big dumper truck with a VW Beetle shell on it firing water pistols at people. Everone is just running round with buckets of water and water pistols, big ones, small ones and even ones with 5-10 litre backpacks on them for extra water. It is absolutely bonkers.

I decided to go and invest in a Supersoaker 1500 pump action. I went and got it loaded up and hit the streets of Chiang Mai. It was busy but it didn't officially start until Sunday. I ended up staying outside a cafe for most of the day because they had 2 big barrels of water so you could keep topped up. I headed back early evening to get some tea, have a few beers and hit the sack.
