The boys got up and went for another walk along the river to look for pigs but only saw a massive python!After their walk we packed up camp and hit the road again.We made a brief stop in McKinlay to see the Walkabout Creek Hotel, where Crocodile Dundee was filmed and then continued on, it was way too hot to make camp yet.We pulled in to Winton at about 5.30pm and decided the stay here for the night.This was the first place we have stayed where the smell of the bore water has been really noticeable (a bit of a rotten egg smell as the water comes out of the ground at around 58 degrees Celsius).We headed to the Tatts hotel for dinner and a few drinks as it was Friday night, and then we walked down to the Australian hotel to experience the Winton night life.We didn't stay too long as the boys were picking up some bad vibes from the 20 or so blokes that were in the bar.......so much for Winton being the 'Friendliest Town in Qld' (as stated on a big sign on the way in to town)
