We paid a quick visit to the Waltzing Matilda Centre - which is a museum dedicated to the history of the song by the same name - before driving to Longreach where we visited the Stockman's Hall of Fame and then we went to the Qantas Museum but we couldn't get on the tours through the big jets so we didn't bother going in - we all just wanted to sit in the cockpit of the jumbo jet.We decided to get back on the road and drive straight to Blackall.

It was a 37 degree winter day today!

Just spent the week in Blackall this week, spending time with Mel's dad and doing lots of Electrical work for him.We also did quite a bit of drinking and sleeping.

Next stop - Birdsville!
