15th September 2009 Back to Blackall we go via the back roads.Our first stop was at a lookout not far out of Boulia which was at the top of a hill and had nice views of the surrounding area.From here we turned south and headed across the farm paddocks to Old Cork station - John Williamson sings about Old Cork Station in one of his songs so we thought we would drive past for a look.From here we travelled the Cork - Jundah Road to Lark Quarry Conservation Reserve ...

22nd August 2009 We paid a quick visit to the Waltzing Matilda Centre - which is a museum dedicated to the history of the song by the same name - before driving to Longreach where we visited the Stockman's Hall of Fame and then we went to the Qantas Museum but we couldn't get on the tours through the big jets so we didn't bother going in - we all just wanted to sit in the cockpit of the jumbo jet.We decided to get back on the road and drive straight to Blackall....
