Back on the road today and we are headed for Karumba.First stop was Gregory Downs Hotel where we had lunch and then continued on the Burketown.We got to Burketown about 2pm and were going to refuel the car and keep going but the servo was closed and we couldn't get any fuel.....so we checked in to the caravan park for the night.After checking in we went for a drive out along the river to do some fishing.We had to be careful where we fished as there are crocs.The boys weren't having any luck with lures so Matt went to chat to some people nearby who were also fishing.The people were from Beaudesert and offered us some bait so the boys tried that....then we ran out of beer and our new friends shared theirs with us.Only caught a few cat fish so the fishing wasn't very successful but it was an enjoyable arvo....except for the sandflies who loved Mel!On the way home we stopped in at the pub for a few beers and then it was back to camp for some grilled chicken and salad and some socialising with our new friends from Beaudesert.
