Last two days have been quiet and lazy....lovely actually. Yesterday we must have had a good nights sleep because we were up, had breaky and in the car by bloody 8:30am!!!! The weather was cloudy and a bit cold, around 19oC with chances of showers. Therefore we decided to do some exploring of the eastern beach of the island and north point. Started the day with bacon and eggs on toast with a coffee which everyone enjoyed, even some kookaburras tried to get in on the action!!! Well we survived our first day and night at moreton island!!!! Marty and l are very happy with the tent. It was also great to fall asleep listening to the ocean and to hear the same when you woke up (behind the noise of the girls of course!). Well we finally made it out to Moreton Island after half a day wasting sitting in the car. We left Gold Coast at 9:30am thinking it would take a bit to find where we had to go but we had arrived at Port Brisbane by 10:30am with our ferry not scheduled to pick us up till 2:30pm!!!
