We arrived in Broken Hill just after lunch. The drive from Mildura to Broken Hill was straight and flat and would have been great of the girls hadn't been annoying. It wasn't a very long trip but it felt like we were in the car all day due to the girls fighting one another and carrying on. Will have to retrain them for the travel l think!! We called in for a few nights at 'The Herezo's' in our time down south. We have missed them terribly and were very humbled by the fact that they felt the same way too.... It was great to catch up on their lives since we had been away and to relax amongst great friends. All the kids, Bailey, Chloe, Joshua, Boo and Meg played wonderfully and got along like a house on fire. All the kids were interested in their chooks, which we later named 'Steggles' and 'Ingham'!!...

The last two days of driving have been exhausting, but beautiful. We said our goodbyes to Boof and Nic and were on the road by 10am, a bit later than wanted but oh well. We were off to Angie and Rod's, our Cape York mates who live in Mulgoa, just outside Sydney. It was a 1100km drive and we pushed it out in two days. If you ask Marty it was two days of driving that could have been done quicker if we stuck to the highway, but we had done that drive so many times...
