We all woke today early with the aim of starting the cruiser and getting on the ferry as soon as possible. We had more fatality with the cars with our battery flat and Rod's starter motor stuffed. Again Mick came to the rescue and jump started us both.
Overnight the cruisers car horn decided to go off and Dale was zonked so took a while to turn it off!
We had a can of spaghetti for breaky as we had run out of milk and cereal (much to the girls disgust)! We packed up, l gave the girls and l a quick bath in the river while keeping a watch out for crocs.
Everyone held their breath for the cruiser to start, bur nothing. So we hooked it up to Mick's patrol to tow and all headed off to the Jardine River ferry. Everyone was quiet and felt bad for Dale, Kerry and the kids. The drive wasn't too bad, corrogations getting bad.
Arrived at the ferry and because Dale had no brakes Marty had to hook up the snatch to aid in his braking. It was a very quiet trip to Bamaga, as soon as we arrived we headed to the bakery for lunch, a wanted pie with sauce and snot block!!!
Dale and Kerry headed to the garage to get the damage assessed. We all headed to Loyalty Beach to check in, it's a caravan park on the beach in-between Seisha and Bamaga. We all set up and waited for the verdict on the cruiser. Dale and Kerry came back and unloaded all their stuff to take the cruiser back to get assessed.
We all chilled out quietly, leaving Dale and Kerry do their own thing. The girls were happy to run and play around.
We had a few beers and wine and headed to bed, deflated over the last 24 hours. Hopefully there will be good news for Dale and Kerry tomorrow.
