Day 43. Moab, Utah.
We spent the first hour today searching motorbike shops for a replacement set of boots for Mark. The zip on one boot has broken but unfortunately all the shops in the area specialise in off road equipment! So we're still trying to think of a solution.

After that we were off on the San Juan Skyway which was a fantastic ride through the mountains and some of the high passes. We then dropped down onto the valley floor and stopped at the isolated store in Bedrock for a drink. It was then a short ride to Moab for our next cabin stop. It has been a fairly easy 250 miles and we even felt fresh enough to drive up and down one road a few times to try and get some arty video. Time will tell if that worked!

We've just returned from a western restaurant were we got "chicken fried steak" (which was actually beef, not chicken) and some great ribs. Oddly both meals came with a dessert on the same plate as the main course, in the form of fry bread, native Indian sweet bread which goes well with honey.
