Day 5a. Amish Country, Pennsylvania.Turned out to be pretty jam packed. We started by heading 65 miles east to Lancaster County, to visit a town called Intercourse, which has a large Amish, Mennonite, and Brethren population. Day 4. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.First proper day of motorcycling today. Headed 80 miles north on Route 15 (Hallowed Ground Historic Byway) to Gettysburg, passing through the state of Maryland. Felt like stepping back in time as the town was full of historic cars, which matched the historic buildings.
