Out of campsite for about 11. Went into town to look at booking some treatments or using a therapy pool. Most places were booked so we wandered around town and got a coffee. Drove from Geoffs in Port Albert to Rotorua. Not much to tell.

A nice lazy day at geoffs today. Sleep in till 8:30. Full English breakfast for the 7 of us. Geoff went and cut half a tree down so that we could get out of the drive without catching the van. Set off this morning from the site at Kaihu and headed off to Wellsford. Stopped about an hour into the journey for a smoke and to look at the view. A nice one on the river edge. Slow start to the morning. Left site about 10:30 to make our way to Russell. I drove and dad took us the scenic way along the coast. We stopped for a break at a place called Otewa I think.
