We obtained a chip on the windscreen yesterday, well we have several but one was quite a large one. Today someone came out to patch us up, giving us time to catch up with friends on FaceTime. Today's plan is tour of the House of Parliament and visit the Te Papa Museum. We hop on a bus once again and are into the house for the 1pm tour. Unbeknown to us, at this time once a week you can be invited into watch the ministers questions..... Wicked, silver clouds and all that. By 2pm the tour is complete a smorgasbord of information (we especially liked seeing how the building has been made earthquake proof, too complicated to explain but mind blowing stuff) and very friendly hosts and we are sat looking at the PM John Keys and his associates. 12 questions are to be asked (see pics) and we sat and devoured every second even seeing a rowdy spectator who kept shouting out Bull**** escorted very nicely from the premises. By question 5 we had to leave to make it to the museum but our thinking about this amazing country was once again reinforced by this experience. If only at home....... Next stop the museum and a few hours of fun, we visited the earthquake room and absorbed as much as we could about this land and the culture. A fitting end to the North Island Adventure.
