Airlie Beach The Whitsundays, a group of 74 islands off the coast of Airlie Beach. Many of our adventures end up taking us off then main land and this is no different... Magnetic Island Officially this island is part of Townsville... Only a 20 minute ferry ride away, but a must see island! We arrive about 10.30 and catch the bus to our guest house. Townsville Just a one night stay here... Just long enough to visit Reef HQ, an aquarium and wander the town to see what it is all about! We are booked on a ferry in the morning to spend a few nights on Magnetic Island. So today we need to utilise the few hours we have!!!
