Today was a trip to nearby Mijas . It is between where we’re staying and Malaga where we flew in. It’s up in the mountains and quite beautiful with sweeping views of the Mediterranean and Africa. Unfortunately the weather was overcast so no Africa view. We walked through ancient churches which had been carved into the rock, neighborhoods with narrow streets, and the central square which had shops for the tourist and a restaurant, one of many where we had a late lunch. We had intended to go to old town Malaga as well but decided to head back as we could not find a time schedule and we’re worried the museum would close by the time we arrived. We headed back, stopping at a Mercado to pick up a few groceries. We then headed to the hydrotherapy pool to relax in and enjoy some conversation with a couple from New York. Tomorrow is either Ronda,Malaga or Sevilla.
