Today we got a late start once again due to my lack of sleep last night. Anyway we had a traditional Spanish breakfast and were on our way. There was a lot of construction which caused our gps to reroute us in circles over and over again. Being a Saturday and going downtown didn’t help the situation. Finally we went far enough away that we found a parking space. While trying to figure out the meter system we were offered help from an older man who communicated somehow that after 2 meters did not have to be used as it was free. His hand went out for a tip. Bill paid him and then we thought about it a little more. We had a similar situation in Washington that ended up costing us $70 from the ticket left on our window. Anyway we struggled for a bit then decided that he was right and headed to our destination. The Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. Ancient castles in downtown Malaga. An amazing day climbing stairs walking across around the outside walls. Artifacts everywhere. Unfortunately explanations were only in Spanish but we pressed on and enjoyed the spectacular views from the top and the true beauty of the ancient structures. We walked through a Central Park back to our car. The park was laid out on a grid system with orange trees filled with ripening fruit at each point in the grid. The urge to reach up and grab one was pretty overwhelming. We were good as we decided that we were going to be good little tourists. Back to the car, very relieved that it was still there. Tomorrow is Ronda or Seville. The photo is from the top showcasing the bullring.

Harold would of been a good scam on his part......
Lorine We had a different guy once again approach us for a tip and he then helped us back out. It’s true nothing is free in Spain. Oh well!
