Today was our last full day in Venice. We had work to do. We have been traversing Spain, Portugal and Italy and at some point one needs to wash their laundry. We took the bus into Venezia today. Super clean and fast at 1,5e each. It dropped us off at the station on the island. Now where to go. No matter we’ll just walk and that’s what we did. Over bridges, down narrow alleyways, in and out of fun shops and across many raised panel walkways as flooding is an issue. Our last full day in Rome. We decided it was time to take in the Vatican as well as the Borghese Villa museum which is near our hotel. Unfortunately it was a very rainy day. We bundled up and firmly pressed our Tilley hats on our heads as they work great to keep rain off your glasses. I’m so sorry it’s been so long. Honestly I’m tired when we get back to the hotel. Each day is a lot of walking and sightseeing. They have I’m assuming wonderful public transportation including metro, buses, trains etc but we have not stepped on one of them. Our hotel is near the Spanish Steps which puts us in walking distance of quite a bit. Don’t get me wrong, you need to be a serious walker to do this as it’s about 20 minutes to the steps if you fin...
