Today was a trip to Tangier’s, Morocco. I never dreamed I’d touch land in Africa. It was absolutely amazing. We had a 2 hour bus ride passing the Rock of Gibraltar, then an hour ferry ride. We disembarked and jumped on to another bus, touring around Tangier’s stopping for photos, a camel ride, the caz barr, lunch and shopping at the souk then back to the ferry. Lunch was really different but super yummy. Fresh orange/mango juice topped off the meal. Bill surprised the heck out of me by allowing the snake charmer to drape his pet rattle snake around Bill’s neck. Photos attached. It was a beautiful day and I’m so happy we lucked out and could get on the tour at the last moment. The weather was perfect. Tomorrow it’s back to the old town part of Malaga (that’s where we flew in) and a neighboring town called Mijas where we’ll explore on our own.
