Day 58: 27/2/13
No call this morning! So I slept in for a while. Hopefully I'll get work tomorrow and Friday.
Annmarie had sent an email saying the board had no problem with me returning or Laura taking her second year so I rang Laura and was chatting to her for a while. She can start planning her second year now! She was hoping to do teaching work this week but hasn't it any calls, so that's not a good sign.
I rang back the agency today to arrange the interview and they can't do it next week as they are booked out. I won't be able to have the interview until Wednesday the 13th. So I can't work until the 14th at the earliest, assuming everything goes well, which knowing my luck may not! They got two weeks holidays on the 29th of March aswell so there won't be much working until the middle of April. I'm definitely going to have to start looking for other work I think, but I don't even know what to start looking for!!
I didn't get much of a response about any of the accommodation places I contacted yesterday either- only one responded and I didn't even like the look of that place! So, there's a lot to organise!!
I went to the shopping centre today as I needed another bag, as I have too much stuff for the rucksack. I paid a little extra for more luggage weight for this flight and hopefully I can dump stuff then when I'm heading home. It's only a small bag but I should be able to fit a good bit of clothes in it.
I had been to the shopping centre near Mikes house so I called into them for the evening. He had printed off my flight itinerary for me too. So I spent the evening chatting to them, drinking tea, eating dinner... The usual in their house. Sean is leaving next week so there's a bit of pressure on to find a new roommate! Typical that I'm moving when there's a room I could have right here!
