Day 50: 19/2/13
I didn't get a call for work this morning. I was up for about an hour sorting myself incase I got a call, but when I didn't I went back to bed for a while. When I woke up the next time I was really sleepy- obviously had too much sleep!
I walked down to some of the shops and cafes down the road that I'd never been too. I usually head towards the city, but I had to go to the post office and there was one in this direction so I had a nose around!
I rang the agency in Melbourne as I hadn't heard anything after sending the cv. I was talking to an Irish girl from Roscommon who wa chatting about Brigids in the football All-Ireland! She said I should be able to have an interview as soon as I get there and will be able to teach immediately after that, but that term 1 is quiet. I'll only be there for a few wks in term 1 so hopefully there'll be plenty of work after that.
I started looking up accommodation aswell. It's hard to know where to go and everywhere seems to be fairly dear. I think being near one of the main train stations is the best bet, but will have to keep looking!
I didn't do much else today- watched tv, was on Facebook.... Nothing much! Hopefully will get more work anyway this week- fingers crossed! I got paid today for the two days last week so that's good!
