Day 57: 26/2/13
I got a call for work this morning which was great! It was in the same school I was in yesterday but was a year 2 class this time. They were really good too, fairly quiet and well behaved. There were two kids though that seemed to have some learning difficulties which would probably be very challenging if you had them every day, but they were well behaved so were fine were one day!
The teacher had lots of work left- spelling groups, reading groups, maths length worksheet, history electricity matching worksheet... It was all there ready to go, so it was a very easy day! They do Smart Moves in this school in the lower classes, which basically means bringing the class out or to the hall for a few minutes to play a game to wake them up before going back to do more work. It lashed rain again so they had to stay on for break. It did stop now and again today, so I was lucky enough not to get soaked going to and from school!
After school I had a voicemail from the agency in Melbourne to arrange the interview, which means they were happy with the cv and references. I rang back and they were to ring me back again but with the time difference it was after office hours. So hopefully I'll get through to them tomorrow.
I texted and emailed a few different people this evening to view their accommodation next week. Hopefully I'll have a few options anyway. I still have a few more to contact tomorrow aswell.
Fingers crossed for another days work tomorrow!!
